Renovation / Winter ginger cookies

I make cookies every year during the holidays, but this years season for celebrating coincided with my sisters purchase of her first home. Her holidays will be spent renovating her house, so I thought I would make her renovation / winter ginger cookies. I was told the wrench looks a bit like a dog biscuit.

So beautiful! And tasty looking. Did you shape/cut those by hand?
By the way, I only read your comment to me (on a post about my parents dropping stuff off) last night. Oops. My parents too do the bringing old stuff/clothes for me to slowly get rid of. Or they call and ask me if I still want “x”. I have been relegated to just some books, photos, journals and a couple things here and there. They are happy to get rid of my stuff. Means more space to hoard other things. Like rolls and rolls of toilet paper, tissue, kitchen and bathroom supplies.
I wonder if the way they go about it is an Asian cultural thing….they feel that they still need to take care of us and our bathroom needs! I think part of it is that they are into good deals, so when something is on sale, they want to make sure we benefit from it. My mom is horrified at the idea of spending full price on toilet paper.
